- 1 1/2 cups chickpea flour
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp pink salt
- 1–2 green chillies (chopped)
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander
- chopped tomatoes (peppers, onions, purple cabbage)
- chaat masala
- bread
- vegan butter
- vegan cheese
- more chopped coriander
- Mix chickpea flour, ground turmeric, chill powder, chillies, coriander
- Add water in small amounts and mix until you get a semi-thick batter
- Dip bread into the batter + place 2 bread slices onto a heated non-stick pan
- Add chopped tomatoes, peppers, onions, purple cabbage on top of both bread slices
- Lightly press veggies into bread + cook for 1-2 mins on medium heat
- Grease pan with vegan butter
- Carefully flip the slices and allow to cook for 2-3 mins on medium heat
- Flip once again and sprinkle chaat masala, chopped coriander and a slice of vegan cheese
- Close the sandwich and cook until crispy / vegan cheese has melted!
