Description

Delicious, easy, and healthy breakfast, Chocolate Almond Butter Oatmeal recipe will help you start your day in the right way.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 1/2 cups water or oat milk
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 12 tbsp cacao
  • 1 tbsp flax meal
  • 13 tbsp maple syrup

Toppings

  • almond butter
  • hemp seeds
  • vegan dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a pan.
  2. Bring to a boil. Stirring frequently to prevent the oatmeal from sticking to the pan.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and keep stirring for around 5 minutes or until the oatmeal becomes thick.
  4. Pour oatmeal into a bowl and top with dark chocolate, hemp seeds and a generous drizzle of almond butter.
  5. Enjoy!

Notes

If you don’t like your oatmeal thick, add more water or oat milk.
