Description

Your morning tea routine just got an upgrade with this ridiculously easy iced blueberry matcha latte. Creamy, summery and delish.

Ingredients

Units Scale

Blueberry Jam

  • 2 cups frozen blueberries
  • 34 tbsp light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp water

Blueberry Milk

  • 23 tbsp blueberry jam
  • 3/4 cup oat milk

Iced Blueberry Matcha Latte

  • 1 tsp matcha
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1/2 tsp sweetener of choice (maple syrup or vanilla syrup)
  • 1/2 cup oat milk
  • fun blueberry ice cubes (*recipe in notes)

Instructions

  1. Blueberry jam: Add all the blueberry jam ingredients into a saucepan, and bring to a boil. Turn down to a simmer, mash the blueberries with a fork or potato masher and cook for 8-10 minutes. Allow to cool.
  2. Blueberry milk: Add oat milk and blueberry jam into a blender and whiz together until smooth.
  3. Final touches: Add matcha into a bowl with the warm water and whisk together until smooth. Add in sweetener if using and whisk together once more. Add in the oat milk to cool the mixture down. Add ice cubes to a glass, pour in the blueberry jam, and then the matcha. Mix, and sip away!

Notes

Blueberry ice cubes – add oat milk or water into ice cube trays, add in a little of the blueberry jam and swirl together. Freeze overnight. If using oat milk, you may need to run the ice cube tray under some warm water to help release it.
