Description

This Mint Chutney is my Grandma's recipe, so you know it's the real deal. This chutney, like most, is super simple to make + naturally vegan! All you need is fresh coriander (aka cilantro), fresh mint leaves, a little ginger, lemon juice, water, sugar and salt. Enjoy this delicious Chutney with Indian snacks, as a dip or even in sandwiches and burgers!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup chopped coriander
  • 1/2 cup chopped mint leaves
  • 12 green chillies
  • 1/2 tbsp grated ginger
  • 3/4 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 2 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 5 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Add everything into a food processor and blend until relatively smooth.
  2. Taste and adjust the salt, lemon juice, sugar and chillies. Add more if needed, and blend again.
  3. Enjoy!
