What you’ll need to make this Vegan Broccoli Grilled Cheese recipe:
- bread slices – I used white sourdough but you can use any bread of your choosing!
- vegan cheese – I had cheese slices so that’s what I used! you can whatever vegan cheese of your liking!
- broccoli
- salt
- mixed herbs
- black pepper
- chilli flakes
- nutritional yeast
How to make this delicious Vegan Grilled Cheese recipe:
- Add sliced or shredded vegan cheese on one of the bread slices.
- Add finely chopped broccoli on top, then sprinkle with salt, black pepper, mixed herbs, nutritional yeast and chilli flakes.
- Cover with the other slice of bread.
- Heat vegan butter or oil on a skillet or pan!
- Carefully place your sandwich on the skillet and cook until golden or crispy to your liking.
- Flip and cook the other side.
- Enjoy warm!

Ingredients
- 2 slices sourdough bread (or any bread slice of your choice )
- 2–3 broccoli florets
- 1–2 slices of vegan cheese (depends on the size of your bread)
- 1/4 tsp mixed herbs
- salt
- black pepper
- chilli flakes
- 1/2 tsp nutritional yeast
- 1–2 tsp vegan butter or oil
Instructions
- Place vegan cheese on slice of bread.
- Add the finely chopped broccoli.
- Top with black pepper, salt, chilli flakes, mixed herbs and nutritional yeast. Cover with the other slice of bread.
- Heat a skillet with around 1/2-1 tsp vegan butter or oil. Place your sandwich in the middle, cook on low for 2-3 minutes or until toasted to your liking. Flip, add a little more oil or vegan butter to the skillet and cook until toasted.
- Enjoy warm!
